Design for the finished pin, not the screen
Fine type, narrow gaps, and small color islands may need adjustment at the requested size. The artwork proof should show the final outline, metal boundaries, color fields, post positions, and any details that need simplification before tooling.
Share where the pin will be worn or presented. A jacket pin, club badge, retail collectible, and campaign giveaway can require different proportions, fittings, cards, and protection.

Approve finish, fittings, and presentation together
Plating and enamel affect contrast; post placement affects orientation; backing cards and boxes affect how the finished piece is handled. Treat them as one approved product rather than separate purchasing lines.

Keep one controlled reference for reorders
Record the approved artwork, dimensions, enamel colors, metal finish, fittings, card, and packing method. A repeat batch or new colorway can then begin from the same reference without rebuilding the specification from memory.
